Favorite website / app:
Technical and/or life challenge you’ve faced and how you overcame it:
My first year on the crew team, I was very unconfident in my ability to contribute. Most of my teammates had been in the sport for over 6 years and I felt way out of my depth. Over the course of that first year, I came to appreciate novice-ness and love it. I appreciated the fact that novices do have something to contribute to a team comprised mostly of experienced people. The new energy that novices bring to the team is incredibly important. A year later, I still feel out of my depth but I am more confident in myself; I wouldn’t have it any other way!
Ideal job / where you see yourself in 10 years:
Making technology that empowers people around the globe to get more done.
What knowledge would you impart to women in order for them to REIGN their lives?
Appreciate novice-ness. Appreciate newness. When you’re new and a novice, that is when you can ask questions that experienced people are unable to.
